The Rebound Rumble is the 2012 FIRST robotics game is played between two Alliances of three teams each.

The goal is to score as many of the compact foam basketballs in the hoops as possible during the 2-minute and 15-second match. Balls scored in higher hoops give teams more points. Teams are given more points if they are able to balance on the bridge at the end of the match.

If the opposite teams work together to balance on the bridge, they will gain additional cooperative points.
